The Boston Celtics extended their winning streak to six games on Monday night with a 145-108 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. The Celtics set a franchise record with 289 assists in the game, led by Jayson Tatum's 13 assists. Tatum also led the Celtics in scoring with 34 points, followed by Jaylen Brown's 25 points and Marcus Smart's 20 points.
The Clippers were led by Kawhi Leonard's 25 points, but they were unable to keep up with the Celtics' high-powered offense. The Celtics shot 56.2% from the field, while the Clippers shot just 40.8%. The Celtics also outrebounded the Clippers 53-31.
The loss drops the Clippers to 17-10 on the season. They will look to bounce back on Wednesday night when they host the Golden State Warriors.
